Run and inspect an automation
Enable or disable an automation, run it by hand, and inspect its history and step results.
Help
Choose when an automation runs, add conditions and actions, and save its rule.
An automation runs a set of actions when its trigger fires. Use it for repeatable work with a clear event, schedule, or manual start.
You need the workspace member, admin, or owner role to create an automation. To create it inside a folder, open the folder and use its New resource button; you need Can edit or Full access on that folder. Changing an existing automation’s rule requires Full access on that automation.
A cron pattern specifies repeating times. For example, 0 9 * * 1 runs every Monday at 9am in the time zone shown below Cron schedule. Manually runs only when you use Run now.
A new automation starts Disabled. Saving its rule does not enable it. Review the trigger and actions, then enable it and inspect a run.
The rule’s If conditions are optional. Add step also offers Condition (if / else) and Loop (for each) for branches and repeated work.
