Zanbase for startups
Plan a release, discuss the spec, and assign the next steps in one workspace. Keep product decisions close to the work they shape.
Product startups from a founding team to their first stage of growth.
The moment
You start the week with a release in mind. By Tuesday, a customer question changes the scope, a bug needs an owner, and someone joining the team needs to understand the decision. The spec and the task list tell different parts of the story. The discussion explains the rest, if you can remember where it happened. As founders hand more work to teammates, a quick spoken agreement needs a written home. You want people to pick up a task with enough context to make a decision, without asking the same person to explain it again.
How Zanbase fits
Use Zanbase to write the release scope, discuss it, and plan the tasks in one workspace. A shared doc holds the decision; task descriptions link to it. Owners, priorities, and dates make the next steps explicit. Ask Zanbase Agent about overdue work in the project when you prepare a check-in. Keep your repositories where they are, with a GitHub connection for requested issue creation and comments.
Turn the release plan into tasks
Write the release scope in a doc. Create a project with tasks for the work, assign owners, and set priorities and due dates. Use milestones or cycles to group the tasks and add the spec’s link to their descriptions.
Keep decisions beside the spec
Edit the spec together and use comments to resolve questions about a passage. Share its link in the team channel when you need a wider discussion. Update the doc with the decision yourself.
Check what needs attention
Ask Zanbase Agent which tasks in the release project are overdue or assigned to a teammate. Open the tasks it identifies and review their descriptions and dates. Decide which owners or deadlines to change.

Questions
Do we have to move our repositories?
No. A workspace GitHub connection lets Zanbase Agent create issues and post comments after approval in chat. It does not promise repository migration or task synchronization.
Can we use Cursor with the workspace?
Yes, through Zanbase’s MCP server, the connection for outside AI tools. Add your workspace’s MCP server URL in a compatible client and authorize it for the workspace you choose; available actions stay within your permissions.
Can we keep our Google Calendar?
Yes. Connect your own Google account and ask Zanbase Agent to list your upcoming Google Calendar events.
