Zanbase for enterprise

Bring documents and delivery work into a workspace with roles, resource permissions and activity. Connect company sign-in; AI acts within a person’s authority.

Larger organizations evaluating shared work, company sign-in, and delegated AI access.

The moment

A department wants a shared place for project documents and delivery work. The people reviewing the request need more than a feature list. They need to know how staff sign in, who can read a project, and whose authority an AI tool uses. A team lead needs to share work across departments without treating every document as open to everyone. When a question comes up about a resource, the reviewer needs to see its recorded activity. These questions follow the work through onboarding, project handoffs, and changes in responsibility.

How Zanbase fits

Zanbase brings that work into one workspace with roles for workspace responsibilities and permissions on resources such as docs, folders, and projects. Set up company sign-in through your identity provider using OpenID Connect, or OIDC. Share resources with the teams doing the work and review their activity where needed. Zanbase Agent acts with the asking person’s permissions. Outside AI tools connect through MCP, a protocol for calling available workspace actions under the authorizing person’s access.

Bring new staff into shared work

A workspace administrator registers your identity provider through OpenID Connect, or OIDC, in workspace single sign-on settings, verifies the domain and tests company sign-in before requiring it for the workspace. The Pricing page shows which plans include single sign-on. Staff then sign in and open the onboarding doc shared with their team.

Uses Docs

Share work with the responsible team

Create teams for the people doing the work. Grant them access to project folders and docs, and choose roles on individual resources. Review a resource’s Activity panel for its recorded changes, actor, and time.

Uses Docs, Projects, Files

Keep AI work within delegated access

Ask Zanbase Agent to review overdue tasks in a project you can access. For Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor, authorize a compatible client through Zanbase’s MCP server. Available actions remain limited by the authorizing person’s permissions; the server does not give those clients access to connected Google or Microsoft accounts.

Questions

Which company sign-in protocol can we configure?

The workspace setup supports OpenID Connect, or OIDC, with your identity provider. The Pricing page shows which plans include it.

Are workspace roles the same as access to a document?

No. Workspace roles govern workspace responsibilities; resource permissions govern access to the work. Grant access to the people or teams that need the resource.

Can we review changes to a resource?

Yes. Its Activity panel shows recorded events with the actor and time.

Can an outside AI tool use all of Zanbase Agent’s actions?

No. MCP exposes a limited action set and excludes actions that need interactive approval. It checks workspace sign-in and the authorizing person’s permissions.
